A booklet with an annual cycle of prayers and Bible readings.

From the booklet's introduction:

The purpose of this booklet is to give a simple scheme of Prayer and Bible Reading for many in our churches who are not using the more elaborate schemes of daily prayer provided in our Prayer Books new and old, but would still like some sort of system.

I start with four very simple forms of prayers during the day. They consist of small extracts from the Bible (New Revised Standard Version – Anglicized Edition). They simply focus our attention and can be used in themselves or as a beginning to our own prayers.

There follow the daily themes and the Psalm for each day followed by extracts from the Calendar of Saints.

There then follows the lectionary for Sundays and Weekdays with instructions how to use it and a simple commentary.
